Tesoro Adobe Historic Park Wedding- Hidden Gem DIY Venue in Santa Clarita

Tesoro Adobe Historic Park was built in the 1920’s by western film actor, Harry Carey. It is situated in the middle of suburban Santa Clarita. You would never know it existed and even some of the residents in the neighborhood don’t know about it.

The venue is completely DIY and is very affordable because the rental is via LA County Parks. The colors and light at this venue are gorgeous. All of the green tones photograph beautifully. It is a huge space that can be coordinated multiple different ways with a bridal room, ceremony and reception space all in the same venue.

This couple had a “first look” before the ceremony which allowed us to do all of the wedding party photos ahead of time. I always recommend a first look because it allows you to enjoy your wedding celebration and not be away from the party. We did step away from the reception for about 10 minutes for sunset photos at the lake next door.

If you are looking for a local and affordable venue for your wedding day, take a tour of Tesoro Adobe Historic Park. It is open to the public six days a week.
