Wedgewood Sterling Hills Wedding | Camarillo, CA | Caleigh + Kent

Boy, this Friday wedding was a memorable one. I woke up this October morning with news of pretty much all of Southern California on fire. The closest to me was the Saddle Ridge Fire, which blocked the main exit from the city I live in. Of course, that didn’t stop me from being at this wedding! Three hours of backroads later, I arrived at the home where Caleigh was getting ready to marry her groom.

My favorite part of this day was the “first touch.” During this time, Caleigh and Kent read notes from each other but saved seeing each other until they walked down the aisle. It was such a *touching* moment ;)

I almost forgot to mention, because you can not tell at ALL from the photos, the power was completely out at the venue! This was a precaution the city took to prevent more fires. The couple’s wedding experience was totally preserved by the team at Sterling Hills who went above and beyond making the day perfect, regardless of the circumstances. They added candles and lighting. If anything the day was made even more romantic.
